W. J. (Wilco) Vermeulen

qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Ontario in 1990 upon completing the national Uniform Final Examination (UFE). The CA, CMA, and CGA designations in Ontario merged into the CPA designation in 2014. In January 1991, he started offering accounting and tax preparation services from a home office in Guelph. As the practice grew and evolved, it moved out of the home office in 2000. Wilco qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2005 and formalized the planning aspects of the practice.
